The film needed to highlight the transformative power of emerging technologies as a catalyst for change, and champion the ongoing commitment of these major companies, all within a short running time to keep the attention of audiences across social media.
With this in mind, we worked to distill the declaration’s key messages into a short, screen-friendly script that could be designed, staged and playfully paced with the audio track – chosen for its progressive and electronic feel. Due to the fast paced nature of the messaging, we followed a stripped back graphic approach that enforces the blue and white of the Mission 2020 brand, making sure that the viewer’s eye could always stay with the message.
As well as screening live at the conference, the film ran across many of the brands’ social media platforms in the run up to the event, and supports the stepupdeclaration.org website.
